Well done to our leavers on their fantastic progress this year which has resulted in some excellent GCSE and Level 1 and 2 Functional Skills Literacy and Numeracy results!

Students at Horizons achieved on average more than 8 passes each with 23% of those at Level 2 / Grades 4-9 GCSE (equivalent to the previous A*-C grades). 31%, therefore almost a third of students, gained Level 2 / Grades 4-9 in both English and Maths with outcomes in these subjects at 38% for English at Level 2 / Grades 4-9 and 44% in Maths. Nearly 4 in 10 left with 3 or more Level 2 qualifications which puts them in a solid position for moving onto higher level courses post-16.

Endeavour students also had some commendable results with 100% of students on full time programmes achieving Level 1 in English and Maths and 80% of students gaining 7 or more qualifications. The average number of exams passed was 6.4 per student with 20% of students achieving 3 or more at Grades 4-9 / Level 2.

Taking into account that many of our students have missed significant periods of education and had to overcome personal challenges in gaining these qualifications, it makes their achievements particularly pleasing. Special commendation to Aaron at Horizons who achieved more than 8 Level 2 / Grade 4-9 passes alongside his peers Anthony, Kai, Louis and Michael who all achieved good grades in Maths. Well done also to Billy at Endeavour for an excellent set of consistent results across the board!

A big thankyou to all the parents / carers and staff who have supported out young people on their journeys! Good luck to all of our leavers as they move onto college, further training and employment!
